Brief Explanation

Sometimes you find a local watering hole that feels like home, and sometimes part of the reason it feels that way is because of the people who work there. Sometimes they become your friends. The idea for this came from one of those friend's, we'll call him C until I ask him if his name can be in this.

C is an chill dude, great bartender, good friend, and on top of that he got undergraduate degree in physics because he loves physics. Every chill guy needs a shark tooth necklace, it's a fact, but that's not the only reason I got the idea to plate a shark tooth silver and give it to him. The other reason is irony.

The class C struggled with the most was electrodynamics, so what better gift to celebrate overcoming a challenge but using the same principles to make something really cool.

I really struggled with this one. The copper just would not work, it kept coming out this nasty matte orange. I just couldn't figure it out, but I decided to try polishing the weird matte color down to see if it was just an outer layer that didn't look right and lo and behold it worked! I had an event with my dad that night so I came up with an idea, I would plate that tooth that only just worked gold and wear it as a tie clip! It was the first thing I ever kept for myself.

Next I made C's of course, and it got a lot easier after that. I also made one in copper and nickel for my girlfriend's family for christmas. All in all it was the first set of things I plated in different metals I ever completed, and each one was given away as a gift.
